Anna Luisa Pini

Born and grown inBologna, in a family given up to arts ( her grandmother, Giovanna Vivarelli, was friend and studied with Bruno Saetti, and conferred a degree at Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, and her father, Paolo Pini, doctor and a ancient art's great lover, was in a interesting group of italian painters for many years), Anna Luisa Pini received her Master's Fine Arts from the Istituto Statale d'Arte di Bologna in 1976:
An year later, she attended the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, because she loved very much the liveliness of the "everlasting city" . She works, so she goes to school as an outdoor, under the tutelage of prof. Alessandro Trotti.
She knows great artistic personalities in Roma in those years, as Trotti, Montanarini , Monachesi , Turcato and her talent come out soon.
She divides her life between Bologna and Roma. Her father trusts in his daughter's gifts, and with his help Anna Luisa has exhibited in her first personal show in Bologna; the newspaper "Il Resto del Carlino", talked well about her pictures by the words of Lino Cavallari, an art critic man.
She has exhibited in numerous shows:
- Collective "Pittori Italiani" BO
- Personal Show in "Altopiano Marconi" BO
- Collective "Lazio '79 at Folklore Museum in Trastevere
where she received a diploma of merit
- Collective "Trofeo Nuovo Caleidoscopio" where she
received the second prime (Roma 1980)
- Collective "Trofeo Trieste" and "September in Rome"
in 1981 always in Rome.
- Personal show in Antey sant'Andrč, Valle d'Aosta.
In 1983 she returns in Bologna and gets married.
She teaches pictures to the children in a primary school and for five years works with them and gets in the nice and expressive children's word.
In 1987 born Andrea. Since this moment Anna Luisa and her husband will have as first attention to their son's growth,tryng to give him love for art, history and, aboveall, a "sunny" character.
During this period she works for Prof. Finzi, in an interesting artistic collaboration in literary works of this illustrious doctor.
In 1992 the family decides the transfert in Lombardia: they choose Bergamo, with theircoloured monuments, rich of history, which is a model of great inspiration for Anna Luisa.
Bergamo Alta is sheographic but austere and here the artist opens a little light studio with permanent show of pictures and porcelain.
In 1996 returns to her public with a great personal show at
"Vinea Regum", a nice artistic gallery in Castel S. Pietro, near Bologna.
Dino Pasquali, famous in Italy, speaks about har very well on show's brochure.
The artist has changed her signature: not PAL or ALP but her whole name.
Other shows:
- "A place for artists" in 1996 in Bergamo, where she received
the Circolo Artistico Bergamasco 's medal
- "Little picture's show" at S. Bartolomeo church, very
important in Bergamo
- " Collective "Progetto Chernobyl" in 1997 in Bologna
- " Great personal show of oil pictures and porcelains at
"Stanze del Teatro Guglielmi" of Massa Carrara under the
tutelage of Massa's Common: Anna Luisa loves very
much this place and she remember her infancy and
teens at the seaside with show's title:
" Sea alived"
- Collective in Curno (Bergamo) in 2000
In 2001 she opens, with old friends, "Atrebates", a studio in Dozza Imolese, an ancient little country on the nice hills near Bologna: here walls are painted by famous artistes of all
over the word and every two years there is the important
"Biennale del Muro Dipinto".
May 2002: a new personal exposition in Bologna at
a centre town gallery "Images" : Looking for....in the sea..and
other...".
Collective for Christmas a Urgnano (Bergamo.
Every year, since 1996 Anna Luisa takes part to the important "Concorso di Pittura e Scultura Don Angelo Foppa in Bergamo.
Remarkable for picture and graphic art at "Premio Agazzi 2003 "in Mapello (Bergamo).
Now she exposes her pictures in a new espace, near her shop.
Every two months she changes pictures and every year, for Crhistmas, she expose her "Nativities" in great or little forms.
